Master of puppets was great, Orion the instrumental was the best, they had flutes 6 string bass layred guitars in the breakdown that song was very musical like master of puppets that's what I like about metallica their musical ballads they have strange choures guitar efeects but then and justice for all was released. That was the turning point, One was ok but the production eas awful, you couldn't hear the bass the drums were upfront but there were a few good riffs but it turned them. THe black album sounds like nu metal and james has a really deep voice now. The other 5 albums including death magnetic are rubbish. James cant sing the drums are too loud and the songs are reppetative. They've lost there musical skill. LISTEN TO TRIVIUM, MEGADETH, SLIPKNOT NEW STUFF or KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. They're real metal double bass drums sweep picking on guiat musical songs tight riffs, tight production.
